Peer-to-peer networks are commonly used in the businesses for the purpose of sharing files and data, downloading games, videos etc for convenience or easy to use but this means that they are at risk. The real thing is to understand that how this P2P network threatens our computer system and information. According to one survey report, Federal Trade Commission (FTC)informed that recently about 100 organizations shared important and secret information of their customers, investors, employees through this P2P network and the government took action that what companies or businesses did so.
This network system is basically a threat as when people share files or info through this they are supposed to suffer great loss. Nowadays there is no difference made by the employees regarding business and home activities as they do all things like file sharing along with video games or music downloading on the same network due to which risk occurs and finally results in the loss of data.
